CheatCodeX is a completely free program that contains cheats, tips and other information that may help playing the games. It supports different languages, both the program's and the data base's language can be changed. Every type of information is stored separately, at startup the users can select which one they want to see.

CheatCodeX also supports the famous skins that can add different looks to the program. The built-in skin update function allows to automatically download the available skins' list, show preview of each of them and download the one you like best with a single click.

The program's data base can be modified freely by the built-in data base editor. CheatCodeX supports Internet based updates as well: selecting the approptiate option the program will download the list of updates, synchronize the data base with the one on the server and modifies it if necessary. In order to shorten download times, only changes made to the data base will be downloaded.

As it turned out, the program has full Internet support. CheatCodeX checks for new version at startup, its database can be up updated automatically, URLs may be assigned to games which are displayed in the Information window. Files can also be attached to games' information that can either be on the computer or on the Internet. In the latter case, they can be downloaded directly from the program, or by the default Windows downloader with a single click. It is possible to send an e-mail to the program's author or one of the skin makers.
